Cultural Initiative

Sunnyside Shines, partnering with the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, NYC Councilmember Julie Won, and NYS Senator Michael Gianaris, brings you culture in Bliss and Lowery Plazas on Thursdays, from May through October.  Hear music and see dance as you come home through the train stations! 

Sit and enjoy and help our local artists.  We contract with artists to perform, but encourage additional tipping.  These are all local artists and are a valued part of our community!
