Meet Shamil Gassanov, Owner of Sunnyside Auto-repair, located at 45-33 37th St. Sunnyside Auto Repair opened in 2016 and caters to all general auto repair needs.
“I grew up in Russia and moved to the USA in 2006. I have been dealing with repairing cars since 2006 and that’s why I had a dream to open my own shop one day. I can tell for sure that dreams come through! We started our business in 2016 in the Sunnyside neighborhood!”
When asked what advice you would give the Sunnyside community when it comes to their personal vehicle Shamil advised “If you service your car on time, you can have it last longer, don’t wait till the last minute. I see many cars on the road that have unusual noises and I always offer my services because if you wait too long it will be more expensive and a bigger problem”. The usual culprits in car maintenance are no oil, overheating, breaks and tires. Your car needs an oil change every 3.5 thousand miles”
