Sunnysiders are in for great fun along with great savings on holiday shopping this year, and it’s all kicking off on November 26th with the Sunnyside Shines Holiday Lighting. Starting at 6 pm in front of the Sunnyside Library at (43-06 Greenpoint Avenue), a host of local performers will be ushering in a new season of holiday lights while the community enjoys free hot chocolate, candy canes, and visits with Santa Claus. The Sunnyside Drum Corps will herald the ceremonial lighting of our 3-D lighted snowflake, followed by additional performances by the Manhatitlan Mexican Dancers and McManus Irish Dance.
